Make Your Mark as an Evening Shift Leader NorDx is seeking an experienced
Evening Shift Laboratory Supervisor to lead our off-shift clinical laboratory team. This is an excellent opportunity for a laboratory professional who enjoys mentoring others, solving operational challenges, and fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring exceptional patient testing services.
Working closely with a supportive leadership team, you'll partner with an experienced day shift supervisor and laboratory manager to maintain efficient operations and support staff development. Our evening team combines experienced laboratory professionals with emerging talent, creating an environment focused on collaboration, growth, and high-quality patient care.
Chemistry experience is strongly preferred. What You'll Do As the Evening Shift Laboratory Supervisor, you will:
- Lead daily laboratory operations during evening and off-shift hours.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to laboratory staff.
- Serve as the primary resource for workflow, staffing, and operational issues.
- Manage scheduling, staffing assignments, and workload distribution.
- Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Support employee engagement, training, competency assessment, and performance management.
- Monitor quality metrics and help implement operational improvements.
- Act as a technical resource, particularly within chemistry operations.
- Partner with laboratory leadership to ensure seamless operations across shifts.
- Perform laboratory testing and other technical duties as needed.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or a similar field required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- License/Certifications:?Certification in one or more of the following: MT,MLT, MLS, CLS, CHT, CHS, CG, CT, HT, HTL, ASCP Scientist/Specialist (BB, C, H, M, MB, SBB, SC, SH, SM) required (ASCP, AMT, HEW, ABHI).
- Experience: Two years of experience as an MLT/MT required. Previous Lead or Supervisor experience preferred.

The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package.
The pay range for this position is $83,324.80 to $112,736.00 per year.
Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
