Compensation RangeThe base pay scale for this position is $86,000.00 - $131,000.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
What you will be doingMajor duties and responsibilities include:
- Supervising, training and mentoring clinical laboratory staff
- Overseeing and participating in the collection, processing and analysis of lab specimens
- Maintaining high-quality standards to ensure accurate, reliable patient test results
- Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines, including CLIA, CAP, and OSHA
- Managing and troubleshooting laboratory equipment to ensure its proper function
- Assisting in the development and implementation of quality control programs
- Coordinating and supervising the work schedule of laboratory personnel
- Conducting regular performance evaluations of lab staff
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret lab results
- Keeping abreast of advancements in the field of clinical laboratory science
