Senior Counsel - Labor Management Relations

Position Overview
A leading national AmLaw 200 law firm is seeking a Senior Counsel to join its Labor Management Relations Group. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with employers across a diverse range of industries on complex labor and employment matters. Our attorneys serve as trusted advisors to executives, in-house counsel, and human resources professionals.
Key Responsibilities
• Advise management clients on labor relations strategy and day-to-day employment counseling
• Lead and support collective bargaining negotiations
• Administer grievance procedures and represent employers in labor arbitrations
• Counsel employers during union organizing campaigns
• Handle labor issues arising in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
• Represent employers in administrative proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB)
• Partner closely with clients to provide practical, business-focused legal counsel that minimizes risk while supporting organizational goals

Qualifications & Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on representing management
• Currently licensed to practice law in California, Washington, or Oregon
• Significant experience in traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining, grievance administration, and labor arbitrations
• Demonstrated experience advising employers on union organizing campaigns
• Strong writing, analytical, and client counseling skills
• Experience representing employers in administrative trials before the NLRB is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
• Base salary range: $225,000 - $280,000 (commensurate with years of practice and relevant experience)
