Full Job Description
Provides strategic, client-facing, labor and employee relations advice, counsel, and CBA administration to the business of 2000+ represented employees located in Marietta, GA. Executes the Lockheed Martin strategy, in coordination with business leaders, for positive employee relations and union relations activities across the enterprise. Implements all Positive Employee Relations (PER) activities including conducting training, union organizing campaign management and onsite interventions. Prepares for, advises on, participates, and leads in matters pertaining to contract negotiation, grievance cases, and arbitrations. Represents management in collective bargaining and other matters with unions representing company employees. Leads in contract interpretation and serves as the integrator for Company and Union relations. Consults with business leaders in the areas of business strategy, organizational effectiveness, workforce strategy and planning, compensation, and employee relations and ensures alignment of organizational resources plans, goals and operations, both strategically and tactically, with those of the Corporation. Collaborates with legal counsel to ensure adherence to federal, state and local laws and regulations. Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Psychology, or related field • Knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) contract interpretation and administration • Ability to foster and enhance positive employee relations between Union officials, leaders, and employees • Familiarity with Microsoft office tools Desired Skills • Labor Relations and/or HR experience in a manufacturing environment • Capability to partner, engage, influence, collaborate, and develop credibility among functional and program leadership, Union leadership, and Human Resources / Labor & Employee Relations colleagues • Ability to analyze complex problems, exercise sound judgment, and appropriately manage conflict • Utilize effective investigative techniques, engaging and partnering with internal stakeholders as needed • Ability to manage and settle grievances through mutually agreeable outcomes following collective bargaining agreement • Administer employee discipline as appropriate • Ability to prepare and deliver persuasive and well-organized ideas in both written and verbal form • Maintain awareness of legal, state, and federal agency requirements to ensure compliance and minimize the potential for litigation and/or agency charges • Education and/or certification(s) in the labor relations discipline • Familiarity with HRIS systems, SAP, Tableau and/or PeopleSoft software Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00 The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible work arrangements and schedules (e.g., 4x10), 401(k) match, Paid time off, Holidays, Parental Leave, EAP, Flexible Spending Accounts, Education Assistance, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability. • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics. • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
