About the job KPI & Cost Supervisor
Responsibilities on the KPI side- Propose production and operational standards and performance metrics, and the key targets and measurement standards for each stage
- Initiate KPI, target setting, define reviewing processes and tracking methods
- Be in charge of KPI, weekly, or monthly tracking and lead optimization projects for achieving target
- Lead KPI digitalization and collaborate with related functions to make sure data transparency
- Benchmark activities shared with domestic plants
- Define measurable performance criteria, standards, and metrics for all operational roles in the Cell Production Facility, and associated processes and tools to monitor and measure employee performance
Responsibilities on the cost side- Develop the annual budget target each year based on aligned processes and standards
- Lead and support the cost analysis process
- Provide coaching/training on cost accounting for lithium batteries,
- Work closely with accounting to produce accurate cost recording.
- Gather financial data and performing detailed cost analysis of per unit cost and yield
- Cost benchmarking analysis (subject to compliance with anti-trust and confidentiality principles), including:
- Identify inefficiencies in the manufacturing processes
- Explain BOM variances
- Analyze idle machine hours cost
- Analyze plant labor capacity / overstaff
- Compare actual vs. Standard cost process / adjustments
- Develop a KPI report, including a recovery plan
- Support management to optimize cost and deliver KPIs
- Support the change management control process for the cell production facility
- Develop operating cost budgets and forecasts.
Job requirements
- Degree in Finance or management related majors
- Basic knowledge of data statistics and analysis
- Advanced skill level in Excel, PowerPoint and other Office suite tools
- 5-10 years working experience in the manufacturing industry, leadership experience
