Responsibilities

  • Join a team of project managers to execute multi-phased projects while meeting client expectations.
  • Conduct construction oversight, design management, and contract management.
  • Monitor field progress, perform schedule analysis, and ensure quality control.
  • Build trust and engage directly with the construction team and client stakeholders.
  • Attend high-level meetings for strategic planning and project execution phases.
  • Identify project risks and create strategies for mitigation.
  • Prepare and oversee accurate project documentation at all phases.
  • Advocate for the client during disputes and manage change orders.
  • Track and process financial documents, such as invoices and purchase orders.

Full Job Description
This position requires local support, with approximately 4-5 days on-site support in Los Angeles, subject to client needs.

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in construction management, Business, Architecture, Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical) or related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in construction project management with a thorough understanding of the building design and construction process.
  • Construction management experience related to base building, commercial, cultural, life sciences, corporate fit-out and/or developer work. Experience with site construction.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in essential software applications, including MS Office, MS Project or Primavera P6, Adobe Acrobat or similar PDF tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Nitro), and project management platforms such as Procore or equivalent.
  • Ability to read construction drawings. Growing technical knowledge of major building systems including MEP, FLS.
  • Understanding and growing knowledge of scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera P6,
What You'll Be Doing
  • Participate as an active member of a team of dynamic project managers in executing multi-phased projects, maintaining client expectations, and evolving project demands.
  • Experience with construction oversite, design management, contract management and project communications.
  • Responsible for monitoring progress in the field, schedule analysis, and quality control.

Salary Range

$90,000 - $130,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

The advertised salary range is intended as a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as experience, expertise, and location. This base salary does not reflect the full compensation package, which may include bonuses, 401(k) matching up to 8%, and other benefits.
