About the Role Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) - Brisbane, CAAs a Software Developer in our Research & Development department at Odoo, you will take part in the design and development of new features and technologies that enhance our all-in-one business management software. You'll also help improve and maintain existing modules, with a strong focus on innovation, usability, and scalability.
Our San Francisco R&D department focuses on adapting Odoo to the entire Americas region: especially accounting, along with payment acquirers, e-commerce, delivery carriers, point of sale. We develop open source integrated business apps to help millions of employees save time in their day-to-day tasks.
Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain Odoo features and applications
- Improve existing code to increase performance, usability, and reliability
- Ensure the quality and consistency of developments through testing and reviews
- Be responsible for what you develop
- Work directly on the software you code for
Must Have- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Any programming language
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to colleagues
Nice to Have - 1-3 years of professional experience (internship experience is acceptable)
- Experience with Odoo or similar ERP systems
- Open source contributions to established projects
- A proactive learning mindset

The estimated annual compensation range for this role is $120,000-$140,000. Please note that actual salaries may vary within, above, or below this range based on factors such as education, training, experience, professional achievement, business needs, and location.
