Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Junior Geotechnical Specialist to support geotechnical investigations, engineering analyses, technical reporting, and construction support activities for infrastructure, transportation, mining, dams, tunnels, marine, water, and industrial projects. Working under the guidance of senior engineers and technical specialists, the successful candidate will contribute to field investigations, data interpretation, geotechnical design support, and project delivery while developing technical expertise across a broad range of geotechnical disciplines.

Role accountabilities:

The successful candidate will assist with planning and executing geotechnical and hydrogeological investigations, including logging, sampling, field testing, instrumentation, and monitoring activities. Support interpretation of soil, rock, groundwater, laboratory, and field data and contribute to development of geotechnical design parameters and recommendations. Assist with foundation, earthworks, slope stability, seepage, settlement, excavation, and groundwater assessments using industry-standard analytical and numerical modelling tools. Prepare calculations, figures, technical reports, and design documentation while supporting construction reviews, proposal development, project coordination, quality management, and maintenance of health, safety, and environmental requirements.

The salary range for this position is $71,280-106,920. The base salary represents Arcadis' hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
