This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and effective communication skills to drive project success and mentor junior developers.
Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and implementation of JAVA-based applications.
- Oversee the technical aspects of projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges and roadblocks in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team.
- Participate in project planning and estimation activities, providing input on timelines and resource allocation.
Mandatory Skills: - Core JAVA programming expertise.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
- Proficiency in web technologies including RESTful APIs, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills: - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on JAVA technologies.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, managing development teams and projects.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
