Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on desktop and server engineering experience required.
• 3+ years of experience in design and support for server platforms including Windows Server.
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware and shared storage systems.
• Experienced with network applications like Exchange and SQL across multiple versions.
• Familiarity with various desktop platforms from Windows XP to Windows 7, including Group Policy management.
• Educational requirements include at least an Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience in IT/Consulting.
• Certifications such as MCITP: Server Administrator and CompTIA (A+, Network+, Security+, Server+) are essential.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues, escalating from Tier 1 to Tier 3.
• Communicate effectively with clients, translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to quickly diagnose issues and implement IT solutions.
• Take ownership of projects, demonstrating initiative and minimal supervision.
• Document all work activities diligently, including ticket updates and timesheets.
• Stay informed about new technologies and industry trends, fostering a self-motivated learning environment.
• Engage positively with a diverse range of technologies and user environments.
