Description

SAIC is seeking an IT Services Operations & Maintenance Oversight SETA to provide expert advisory and technical support to Government leadership across IT maintenance operations, change management, and service delivery lifecycle activities. The successful candidate will support the full spectrum of maintenance and change management functions from service transition and integration through operations, maintenance, and disposal. This role requires a detail-oriented, collaborative professional with strong technical acumen and the ability to coordinate across complex, multi-stakeholder environments to minimize operational risk and sustain mission capability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Successful candidate must be able to:
  • Advise Government leadership on core operational capabilities, planned maintenance activities, and change management processes.
  • Support troubleshooting of service outages, de-confliction of recovery efforts, and restoration of normal service operations to minimize mission impact.
  • Assist with root cause analysis and after-action reports to identify sources of service failures and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Support execution of enterprise-level Maintenance Activity (MA) functions, including Approver and Scheduler actions, and represent organizational equities at site-level MA Review Boards.
  • Assist Acquisition Offices in obtaining approval for site-impacting integration and maintenance activities.
  • Review acquisition-produced artifacts for continuity and compliance with site and systems engineering governance, reporting potential non-compliance.
  • Support readiness event planning and assess service maturity through established readiness processes to efficiently transition services from development into operational environments.
  • Coordinate service delivery artifacts through site integration efforts and facilitate stakeholder awareness of integration activities.
  • Assist with planning and preparation for the retirement and disposal of systems and services.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field (ref: DHS STEM Designated Degree Program List)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in IT operations, change management, systems engineering, or a closely related discipline
  • Familiarity with IT service delivery lifecycle concepts including transition, operations, maintenance, and disposal
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop technical reports and briefings for senior audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across complex, multi-stakeholder organizations and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive problem-solving mindset with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Active TS/SCI with current poly required to start and must be maintained

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
