Full Job Description
Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Infrastructure Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, deployment, management, and optimization of our hybrid infrastructure. You will play a critical role in maintaining the stability and security of our on-premises Windows server environments, as well as our expanding cloud footprint across AWS and Azure.

This position is hybrid, combining remote work with several in-office days per week at our Montréal HQ in Saint-Laurent once training and team integration are complete.

Key Responsibilities:
• Server Administration: Manage, maintain, and patch Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) to ensure high availability and performance.
• Cloud Operations: Manage and scale cloud resources within AWS (EC2, S3, VPC) and Azure (VMs, Azure AD/Entra ID, Resource Groups).
• Networking: Oversee core networking components including firewalls, switches, VPNs, and DNS/DHCP configurations.
• Identity & Productivity: Administer and secure Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams administration.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, monitor system health, perform regular backups, and participate in disaster recovery planning.
• Troubleshooting: Serve as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network topology, server configurations, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications
• Experience: Five (5) or more years of experience in IT infrastructure administration or a similar systems engineering role.
• Windows Server: Expert knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience managing production environments in both AWS and Azure.
• Excellent understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and WAN/LAN troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 tenant management and administration.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and solve complex technical problems under pressure.
• Experience with Zscaler and good knowledge of ZTNA
• Experience with network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

Preferred Skills
• Experience with PowerShell or Bash scripting to automate repetitive infrastructure tasks.
• Knowledge of PLC/OT environments
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar are a plus.
