This role serves as the local IT infrastructure point of contact, responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of on-site servers, network equipment, and related IT infrastructure. The position requires a strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Management, monitoring, and maintenance of local server systems (physical and virtual)
- Configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of network equipment (APs, switches, routers, firewalls, etc.)
- Response to user inquiries related to infrastructure and system availability
- Coordination with global HQ on infrastructure projects, policies, and standards
- Support for system backups, disaster recovery planning, and security patch management
- Management of infrastructure solution vendors and service providers
- Preparation, review, and execution of validation and compliance documentation for infrastructure changes
- Analysis of user requirements to support infrastructure improvements and process optimization
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience with Windows/Linux server administration, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), and network protocols
- Knowledge of firewall management, VPN, and enterprise security best practices
- Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., GxP, FDA, ISO) is a strong plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with global teams
The anticipated salary range for this position in Maryland is $88,275 to $117,700 plus annual bonus, when eligible. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc.
