For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. The Judiciary offers a strong opportunity for growth.The Morris and Sussex Vicinage is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Court Executive 2B (Information Technology Division Manager). The position requires strong leadership, decision making, creative thinking, effective influencing and negotiating abilities, with a broad spectrum of relevant technical knowledge. While working under the general direction of the Assignment Judge and Trial Court Administrator the manager will function as an internal consultant, conducting annual needs assessments to identify strategic planning initiatives. The selected candidate will: assist, plan and direct implementation and installation of statewide and vicinage-based computer systems and provide ongoing support. This position will be responsible for a team of technology staff providing first level support in three locations. The selected candidate will also be responsible for overseeing support for staff working in a remote environment, including monitoring and addressing their technology needs. The environment is comprised of Windows Active Directory, Windows 11 clients, as well as Cisco switches and routers. Other technology includes, but is not limited to: Exchange, Microsoft Office, Wireless LAN, Android devices, DELL PCs and laptops, digital court recording, scanning, Inter/Intranet, LAN/WAN, IT security network infrastructure, limited VoIP support, Cisco telephone support, and judiciary applications support. This will include development of IT related training for judges and vicinage users. In addition, this position participates in the development and implementation of Judiciary Information Systems policies, procedures, and standards and will also plan, integrate and manage strategic goals for technology innovation consistent with statewide plans and priorities. The Division Manager will coach and mentor staff, monitor and assess training needs, conduct performance evaluations, recommend personnel actions, and perform other related duties as required.
REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.
**Although this position is based in the Morris County Courthouse (Morristown, New Jersey) travel to the Sussex County Judicial Center (Newton, New Jersey) and other Judiciary locations is required.** Example of Duties Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position.

QualificationsEducation: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree.
Experience: Five years of professional administrative and/or program management experience which shall have included responsibility for reviewing, prioritizing, and assessing information technology initiatives, projects, and staff; developing, implementing, and supporting complex systems, database, network, and applications environments; aligning technology strategies with business objectives; optimizing use of Information Technology resources including developing budgets and controlling costs; and/or defining applications development methodologies and three years of supervision of staff.
Substitution: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits. An associate's degree and two years of additional professional experience may be substituted for the required bachelor's degree. A master's degree may be substituted for one year of experience as indicated above
-OR- a law degree may be substituted for two years of experience as indicated above.

Supplemental InformationDriver's License: Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.
