Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced
IT Business Analyst to join our clients team on a dynamic, project-driven basis. In this role, you'll be the vital link between business stakeholders and the IT team, analyzing business needs, identifying impactful technology solutions, and ensuring successful implementations. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive meaningful change in business processes, enhance technical efficiencies, and directly contribute to the clients organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops with client business stakeholders to gather detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
- Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes and uncover areas for improvement, recommending technology-driven solutions.
- Documentation & User Stories: Prepare user stories, process flows, business requirements documents, and other artifacts to effectively communicate business needs.
- Technical Translation: Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications that are actionable for the IT development team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the clients IT team, project managers, and subject matter experts to align on project goals and milestones.
- Testing & Validation: Ensure solutions meet business requirements through testing and user acceptance processes, refining as necessary.
- User Training & Support: Provide support and training to business users on new systems, enhancing overall user adoption and satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement: Keep an eye on evolving business needs and proactively recommend updates to existing systems and processes.
Required Skills and Experience:- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 3-5 years as a business analyst, ideally within IT-focused or technology-driven roles.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively bridge technical and business worlds.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in business analysis tools (e.g., process mapping, data modeling) and experience with Agile or iterative software development.
- Project Management Knowledge: Understanding of project management principles, capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Software Skills: MS Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications:- Advanced Degree: Masters in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- Certifications: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar credential.
- ERP/CRM Knowledge: Familiarity with enterprise applications, such as ERP, CRM, or project management systems.
