They will perform the duties of an Information Systems Security Officer, including:
- Checking system audit logs
- Continuously monitoring system compliance with security requirements
- Ensuring proper vulnerability management
- Developing and Maintaining System Security Plans
- Promoting and enforcing information systems security policies
- Using the Risk Management Framework to process system authorizations
- Managing security-relevant system changes
- Reporting security incidents
- Coordinating with personnel in other information security roles
The successful candidate will also provide analysis of current business processes and help to formulate continuous improvement initiatives for the C&A and Continuous Monitoring processes, and devise metrics for collecting data to evaluate the performance of ISS processes.
Qualifications for this position include 3 to 5 years directly related experience, good communications skills, a current TS/SCI Security Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph. Level I or II DOD Cybersecurity Workforce Improvement Program (CWIP) Certification.
