Full Job Description
Bain Capital’s Investor Relations team is seeking a Product Support Associate to support the global Real Estate team based in our Boston office. RESPONSIBILITIES: Partner with senior BCRE, marketing/communications, and IR leadership to facilitate capital raise and other marketing initiatives. This includes the design and preparation of all investor-facing and external correspondence. Materials should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate a powerful branded message. For this, the candidate will need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. The goal is to inspire and attract the target audience. • Oversee all marketing projects and collateral, including pitchbooks, investor reporting, fund profiles, private placement memoranda, website content, etc., from conceptualization to finished product. • Communicate investment strategies, fund performance and updates, and macro-market commentary, internally and externally. • Assist with ad hoc client and prospect requests in a timely and efficient manner. • Liaise with global distribution sales and investment teams to communicate latest product position and strategy updates. • Develop and maintain relationships across internal stakeholders, including investment teams, legal, compliance, accounting and finance, and global distribution sales teams. Qualifications: • Strong academic credentials (BS/BA from highly regarded institution) and a demonstrated track record of successful work experience. • 2-5+ years of experience at an investment management firm, private equity firm, consulting firm, investment bank, or similar. • Highly creative and innovative individual with a proven track record of creating aesthetically pleasing materials that help simplify complex concepts. • Technical aptitude and proficiency in all forms of desktop publishing and software including, but not limited to, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and MS Office Suite. • A self-starter with excellent organizational skills who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and is capable of delivering exceptional results under tight deadlines. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate our real estate investment clearly and concisely. • Well-developed project management skills and an ability to handle multiple projects/tasks with limited supervision. • Meticulous attention to detail. • A team player with outstanding interpersonal skills and business maturity that builds and leverages relationships to deliver exceptional results. • Ability to understand financial statements and investment performance metrics. Compensation: Expected Annual Base Salary $75,000 - $100,000 Actual base salary will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to role, function, level, experience, qualifications and geographic location. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based upon factors such as individual impact, team and firm performance.
