Role Description / Areas of responsibility:

As a Senior Associate / Vice President, you will be working directly with Managing Directors, Executive Directors, Vice Presidents, Associates, and Analysts on servicing and executing client transactions. Within Nomura Greentech, Senior Associates / Vice Presidents play a crucial role in deal execution, and this is a unique opportunity to gain accelerated responsibility and client exposure immediately. We are seeking high impact Investment Bankers to join Nomura Greentech and cover clients, develop our continuing thought leadership and execute transactions.

  • Deal Execution: Work closely with clients and deal teams on live transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, capital raisings, financings, and derivative transactions
  • Client Relationship Management: Produce and present ideas at client meetings as a member of a deal team alongside senior bankers; Nomura Greentech seniors bankers take an active approach to ensure associate-level involvement in client meetings and broader coverage
  • Strategic Analysis: Through financial, structural, and business risk analysis, support transactions and client presentations
  • New Business Development: Actively participate in covering clients, leveraging proprietary content and generating value-additive ideas
  • Team Management and Development: Manage Associates & Analysts to execute deliverables for clients and support the training and mentoring of junior professionals; associates play a key role in junior team development


Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
  • Outstanding academic qualifications; strong GPA
  • Prior investment banking experience; bulge bracket or boutique program training a plus
  • Passion for the business opportunities in energy transition and sustainable infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Series 79 and 63, or willingness to sit for the exams required

*base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job-related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience.
