Full Job Description
Position Summary:The Investment Analyst plays a key role on our investment team, owning day-to-day portfolio rebalancing across client accounts and, as they grow in the role, contributing directly to the firm's codebase and tools that drive our investment process. This is a hands-on opportunity at the intersection of portfolio management, technology, and client operations, making it an ideal role for someone eager to learn about systematic investment processes and make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute daily and periodic portfolio rebalancing across client accounts.
  • Monitor rebalancing and trading activity, investigate exceptions, and partner with team members to resolve issues efficiently and accurately.
  • Partner closely with trading, operations, and client services teams to resolve account-level issues, onboard new accounts, and address client-related requests.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our investment process and, over time, contribute to the Python codebase that powers rebalancing, trade generation, and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance workflows by proposing and implementing improvements.
  • Assist with maintaining documentation and procedures as the investment process evolves.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Finance, or Economics is required.
  • 0 - 3 years of experience. Previous experience in a finance role is a plus but not required. We welcome individuals with strong analytical skills and a desire to learn about the investment industry.
  • Proficient in Excel, with the ability to efficiently analyze and work with large datasets while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Comfortable learning and leveraging technology, with an interest in developing skills in Python and other tools that support our investment process.
  • Interest in financial markets and investment concepts. Prior knowledge is helpful but not required; curiosity and a willingness to learn are most important.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and comfortable owning a repeatable, high-stakes daily process.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, identify inconsistencies, and investigate issues to uncover root causes.
  • Genuinely curious with a desire to understand how things work, challenge existing processes, and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Interest in learning how to use and optimize AI for day-to-day workflows in a creative manner.

Pay Transparency: Concentric's expected starting base compensation range for the position as of the time of this posting is $80,000 - $90,000 per year. The actual base compensation selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) experience, education, specialty and training. The successful candidate(s) may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus award.
