Join us in the Investment Research Group Analyst Program

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is currently recruiting for our Investment Research Group Program. This is a 3-year program, during which the analyst supports the Investment Research Group (IRG) in full asset allocation, manager selection and monitoring, risk management, and other investment decisions for our clients' portfolios. Analysts will gain exposure to every stage of the investment process, from initial manager screening and due diligence to partnering with best-in-class managers, while monitoring existing managers on the BBH platform acting as generalists. BBH manages approximately $50 billion in assets on behalf of high-net-worth and endowment and foundation clients. IRG leverages extensive experience to actively scour the investment universe and conduct due diligence to find those select few that meet our high bar for inclusion in our portfolios. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct due diligence on prospective managers and monitor existing managers.
  • Perform financial analysis on prospective and existing managers.
  • Participate in on-site and virtual meetings with managers across the globe.
  • Communicate with managers and other IRG team members to deliver quarterly and annual materials, along with commentary on our managers.
  • Assist in the creation of broader market commentary for internal and external recipients.
  • Develop materials that outline IRG's best thinking to present to BBH's Private Banking Investment Oversight Committee, Relationship Managers, and clients of all BBH's multi-family offices.
  • Contribute to IRG's mission of delivering investment excellence and instilling client confidence.

Qualifications

BBH's Investment Research Group is seeking candidates with a track record of exceptional academic performance, strong intellectual curiosity, great work ethic, strong oral and written communication skills, outstanding organizational skills, exceptional quantitative analytic capabilities, and the ability to successfully work in a team-based environment. Ideal candidates will come from undergraduate classes of 2024-25, with relevant prior work experience in finance-related or highly analytical/quantitative roles, including Investment Banking, Private Equity, Investment Management, Corporate Finance, Data Analysis, or other Capital Allocation related jobs.

Salary Range

NY: $85,000 - $100,000 base salary + annual bonus target
