About This Role
RGP is proactively connecting with experienced investment accounting professionals in the
New York City / Tri-State area for potential consulting opportunities supporting complex investment portfolios. We are seeking professionals with
5+ years of accounting or finance experience, including investment accounting, limited partnerships, private equity, or related invested assets. Candidates should have strong financial reporting and analytical experience, ideally within insurance or financial services, and
must be able to work onsite.
What You Will Work On
Areas of Focus: - Investment accounting and statutory reporting for limited partnerships, private equity, and other invested assets
- Monthly and quarterly financial reporting, reconciliations, and earnings analysis
- Cash activity, investment valuations, and equity earnings adjustments
- Statutory accounting policies, internal controls, and SOX compliance
- Cross-functional collaboration with finance, tax, and investment teams
What You Will Bring
Ideal Background: - 5-7+ years of accounting or finance experience
- Experience with investment accounting, limited partnerships, or private equity investments
- Exposure to statutory accounting and reporting, ideally within insurance or financial services
- Strong Excel skills; Investran and SAP experience a plus
- Ability to work independently and navigate complex financial environments
