Position Profile

Weaver is looking for an International Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join their growing team. The International Tax team assists clients in navigating global legislative developments, meeting global reporting requirements and implementing comprehensive tax strategies. Our International Tax Services consists of compliance, provision, and consulting for both inbound and outbound clients as well as coordination with our foreign network firms. Consulting services include, but are not limited to: global tax planning, foreign tax credit planning, structuring of mergers/acquisitions/dispositions, transfer pricing strategies, and treaty analysis.

An International Tax Manager or Senior Manager is responsible for completing, supervising, and reviewing both U.S. tax compliance and complex tax-planning strategies while considering the implications to U.S. and international operations. This person will also advise U.S. and foreign multinational companies on the U.S. tax implications with respect to on-going operations.

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:
  • 5-7 + years of international tax experience in public accounting or its equivalent
  • CPA or JD
  • Experience with income tax preparation and planning for domestic businesses, US multinationals and foreign corporations.
  • Broad exposure to U.S. International income taxation
  • Proven ability to manage and develop team members
  • Strong relationship management and practice development skills
  • Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients
