This role will give you the opportunity to work on the firm's largest multi-country client engagements, focusing on the Global Minimum Tax Act that implements Pillar Two in Canada.

OverviewAs part of the Tax Team, focusing on Pillar Two, you will be at the forefront of understanding the impact of these changes on our clients and their business. Working with a diverse, multi disciplinary, cross- service line team you will help lead technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders on BEPS Pillar Two areas of focus, particularly:
- Advising Canadian and foreign companies on GMTA - Pillar Two implications of their global structure
- Preparing impact assessment models and gap-fit analysis based on the client ERP, tax accounting and reporting systems
- Identifying opportunities for providing tax planning and other specialty services
- Providing technical support of BEPS Pillar Two provisions based on the client tax accounting reporting process at the Group level
- Delivering compliance and reporting solutions and engaging in business development activities
Your key responsibilities- Lead complex BEPS Pillar Two engagements and drive exceptional client outcomes
- Serve as a trusted advisor, building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for growth
- Develop engagement strategies and oversee resourcing, budgets, and delivery
- Provide technical guidance on evolving international tax developments and their application to client situations
- Lead and develop diverse, high-performing teams across jurisdictions
- Mentor and coach professionals while fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture
- Uphold EY's quality standards and commitment to professionalism in every client interaction
Skills and attributes for success- Expertise in international corporate tax, including BEPS Pillar Two and the OECD GloBE Framework
- Strong understanding of tax accounting principles under IFRS and/or US GAAP
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
- Strong project management skills with experience managing budgets, priorities, and deadlines
- Agile, collaborative, and proactive approach to client service
- Interest in applying technology and innovation to tax service delivery
To qualify for the role, you must have- 5+ years of international corporate tax experience, including OECD Pillar Two expertise
- CPA, CPA In-Depth, LLB, LLM, or equivalent professional credentials
- Strong understanding of tax accounting concepts
- Experience managing client relationships and delivering complex tax engagements
- A growth mindset with a demonstrated ability to support business development
- Proven leadership and team development experience
Ideally, you'll also have- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and oversee engagement budgets.
- French language skills are an asset; English is required to support clients across Canada.

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.
