Job Summary:Methodist Healthcare System is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Outpatient Cardiology team in San Antonio, TX. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative group of cardiologists in a patient-centered environment focused on delivering high-quality cardiovascular care.
Position Details:- Conduct outpatient cardiology evaluations, follow-ups, and routine management
- Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients on cardiovascular health, medications, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings
Qualifications:- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Texas
- National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
- Experience in cardiology or internal medicine preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
