ROLE SUMMARYAs an Intermediate Architectural Designer, you bring creativity, refined judgment, discipline, and genuine passion to every stage of the design process, from initial concept through full project development. You partner closely with clients to thoughtfully shape and deliver architectural interior projects that are both highly functional and beautifully detailed. Drawing on your hospitality design experience, you contribute fresh ideas while collaborating with your team to guide each project seamlessly through every design phase.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Participating in client meetings and crafting elaborate client presentations in InDesign, Google Slides and Power Point
- Creating, producing and managing detailed design drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
- Communication and cross collaboration to drive conceptual thinking on your projects
- Producing 3D models, sketches and boards to support your ideas
- Select and specify architectural finishes
- Design, detail and specify custom FF&E
- Coordinate with vendors and other project consultants to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS- B.Arch or B.S in Architecture or related field from an accredited school
- Minimum 4 years of post-graduate design experience in an architectural and/or interior design studio.
- Strong Revit, Enscape and AutoCAD skills
- Ability to model in 3DS Max, Rhino or Revit
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with designers across the studios
- Experience in design work within the hospitality industry is a plus
- Training and/or qualifications such as ASID, NCIDQ, AIA are also a plus
- Additionally, working within the context of a global company which has a broad & diverse portfolio would be a desirable feature of your experience
Location: This opportunity is located at our Broadway Studio in New York. On this occasion, we can only consider applications from those fully authorised to work in the U.S.
This position involves a hybrid work arrangement, incorporating both a 2-day remote and a 3-day in-person commitment in our New York studio.
Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000
Contract: Full time employee - Monday-Friday, 9.30am-6.30pm
