Job Overview:

Job Summary:**

The Interface Manager at Primoris Services Corporation is responsible for identifying, managing, and resolving interface issues between various project elements, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery. This role plays a critical part in coordinating communication and workflows across complex infrastructure and energy projects.

Job Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement an Interface Management Plan (IMP) for assigned projects, outlining strategies, processes, and tools for effective interface identification and resolution.
* Proactively identify potential interface conflicts and interdependencies between project disciplines, engineering teams, construction crews, subcontractors, and external stakeholders (e.g., regulatory bodies, landowners).
* Facilitate regular interface meetings and workshops with relevant parties to discuss interface points, track progress, identify roadblocks, and agree on resolution strategies.
* Establish and maintain an Interface Register, documenting all identified interfaces, their status, responsible parties, and resolution plans.
* Act as a central point of contact for all interface-related queries and issues, ensuring clear and consistent communication across project teams.
* Monitor and track the closure of interface actions, escalating unresolved issues to project leadership as necessary to prevent project delays or cost overruns.
* Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure all interface requirements are clearly defined and met throughout the project lifecycle.
* Prepare regular reports on interface status, progress, and key performance indicators for project management and senior leadership.
* Contribute to the development of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives for interface management within Primoris Services Corporation.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, safety regulations, and project-specific requirements.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field), Construction Management, or a closely related discipline.
* Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in project management, project controls, or interface management within large-scale construction, infrastructure, or energy projects.
* Proven experience in managing complex interfaces involving multiple stakeholders and disciplines.
* Strong understanding of project lifecycle phases from conceptual design through commissioning.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse teams and external parties.
* Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
