Intellectual Property Patent Agent - Stamford Office

Patent Agent with three to five years of experience to join our Intellectual Property Practice Group, resident in our Stamford, Connecticut office. This role will focus on patent preparation, prosecution, and portfolio development for clients working in medical technologies, medical devices and aerospace systems, collaborating closely with partners and other members of the intellectual property team. We seek candidates with a background in mechanical or electrical engineering and some independent patent prosecution experience. Familiarity with mechanical inventions or medical devices is a plus, and registration to practice before the USPTO is required. The ideal candidate will bring excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound technical judgment, and careful attention to detail. We value intellectual curiosity, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
