This role collects, analyzes, and interprets data to identify trends, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement. The Analyst delivers clear, actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making across procurement and supplier management functions. Key Responsibilities • A procurement intelligence analyst focuses on the strategic utilization of data to optimize procurement processes. Key responsibilities include: • Data Analysis: Gathering, processing, and analyzing procurement data to provide insights that drive value optimization and cost savings • Market Intelligence: Monitoring market trends and supplier performance to inform purchasing decisions and enhance supplier relationships • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks associated with suppliers and procurement processes, ensuring compliance with regulations • Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, finance, and operations, to align procurement strategies with broader business objectives • Reporting: Creating reports and presentations that synthesize findings and support strategic decision-making within the organization Skills and Qualifications • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and identify trends, enabling informed decision-making • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with procurement software and data analytics tools, as well as advanced Excel skills for modeling and forecasting. • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey insights and collaborate with stakeholders . • Problem-Solving - Ability to diagnose issues and propose actionable solutions • Communication - Clear verbal and written communication skills to effectively conduct reporting and presentation of complex data to non-technical stakeholders • Technology Fluency - Comfort with AI-assisted analytics, forecasting tools, and automation platform Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in fields such as business administration, supply chain management, or data analytics Experience - 5+ years in supply chain analysis, data analysis, or related roles Certifications - Procurement and Supply Chain Management, AI Procurement Demand and Forecasting Analyst or other relevant credentials not required but preferred
