The Role We Want You For
We are seeking an Integrations Engineer to join our Application Development team and help connect critical business systems across the organization. This role will work especially closely with our Accounting team and will play an important part in supporting and improving integrations between JD Edwards (JDE) and other enterprise applications.
The most important qualifications for this role are a strong understanding of JD Edwards, the ability to develop and support JDE Orchestrations, and the ability to build strong, trusted relationships with Accounting and other business stakeholders.
Prior experience building modern software integrations is not required. The right candidate will have an interest in learning software development and integration technologies and will be trained on our established integration architecture, including C#, .NET, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, APIs, and related Azure services.
Outside of development performed directly within JDE, this role will be expected to embrace AI-assisted development and use tools such as Claude Code and Codex as a core part of the development process. The ideal candidate will be comfortable learning new ways of working and using AI tooling to accelerate development, troubleshooting, documentation, and other technical work.
This is a highly collaborative role for someone who understands business processes, enjoys solving problems across systems, and can translate business requirements into dependable technical solutions.
The Specifics of the Role
Develop, maintain, and support JD Edwards Orchestrations used to automate business processes and integrate JDE with other systems.
Serve as a key technical partner between the Application Development team and Accounting, developing a strong understanding of Accounting processes, requirements, and challenges.
Work directly with business users to understand existing processes, identify opportunities for automation, and define integration requirements.
Troubleshoot JDE integrations, data issues, and business-process failures across multiple systems.
Learn and apply the organization's standard integration architecture and development patterns.
Build and maintain integrations using technologies such as C#, .NET, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, REST APIs, and SQL.
Use AI development tools such as Claude Code and Codex when building integrations and other solutions outside of JDE.
Develop integrations that reliably move data between JDE and internal or third-party applications.
Work with Application Development, Data, Infrastructure, Security, and business teams to deliver secure and supportable integrations.
Assist with testing integrations and validating that data is processed accurately across systems.
Monitor and troubleshoot production integrations and work with business users to resolve issues.
Help improve existing integrations as legacy integration processes are modernized or replaced.
Document integration workflows, dependencies, business rules, and support procedures.
Develop an understanding of the data models and business processes within JDE and the systems integrated with it.
Support integrations involving financial, project, employee, vendor, and other enterprise data.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Willingness and ability to learn software development and modern integration technologies.
Willingness to embrace AI-assisted development and use tools such as Claude Code and Codex as a primary part of the software development workflow outside of JDE.
