The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Integration & Test Engineer with extensive RF systems knowledge to lead the integration, troubleshooting, and verification of complex mission systems. The successful candidate will serve as the technical lead for system integration and test activities, working across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program management to ensure products meet demanding customer and program requirements.

Lead the integration, troubleshooting, and verification of complex RF and electronic systems from development through production.
Serve as the technical authority for system integration and test activities supporting high-reliability defense programs.
Drive technical solutions to complex hardware, RF, and system-level integration challenges.
Mentor junior engineers and technicians while establishing best practices for integration and test.
Support customer demonstrations, qualification testing, and system acceptance events.

Responsibilities:
Lead integration and system-level testing of complex RF, digital, and mixed-signal electronic systems.
Develop integration strategies, test plans, and verification procedures for hardware and system-level testing.
Perform advanced troubleshooting of RF signal paths, transmit/receive chains, digital interfaces, power distribution, timing, synchronization, and system communications.
Analyze RF performance including gain, loss, noise figure, frequency response, harmonics, spurious emissions, and signal integrity.
Configure and operate RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers (VNA), signal generators, power meters, oscilloscopes, and digital test equipment.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, firmware, and interface issues across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions for integration and production issues.
Review engineering drawings, RF block diagrams, schematics, interface control documents (ICDs), wiring diagrams, and system specifications.
Support customer acceptance testing, environmental testing, qualification testing, and field integration activities.
Develop automated test methodologies and improve integration and production processes.
Mentor engineers and technicians while providing technical leadership during integration and production activities.
Support proposal efforts, technical reviews, and customer briefings.

Qualifications:

Required:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
8+ years of experience integrating and testing complex RF and electronic systems.
Demonstrated expertise with RF communications, microwave systems, digital signal processing, or SIGINT/ISR systems.
Extensive experience troubleshooting RF hardware at the component, subsystem, and system levels.
Strong understanding of:
RF propagation
Impedance matching
S-parameters
Gain and attenuation
Noise figure
Frequency conversion
Mixers, filters, LNAs, amplifiers, and antennas
Experience interpreting RF schematics, wiring diagrams, system architectures, and engineering drawings.
Experience leading system integration efforts and resolving complex technical issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.

Desired:
Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
Experience with SIGINT, EW, ISR, or tactical communications systems.
Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs.
Familiarity with Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz, Tektronix, and National Instruments test equipment.
Experience with automated test systems, Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or other test automation tools.
Experience leading technical teams or serving as the integration lead on complex defense programs.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
