Full Job Description
We have an opportunity for a level 2 Program Planner to join our mission supporting Global Security in Littleton, CO. In this role, you will.... • Serve as the responsible Planner for a specific IPT on the program • Develop, manage, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to monitor progress, assess program status, and identify performance issues • Maintain cost, schedule, and technical accuracy by coordinating with the cost team, CAM, and technical team • Ensure EIA-748 schedule guidelines and program baseline control processes are followed • Apply critical path methodology, risk analysis, and problem resolution to mitigate delays, communicate schedule impacts, and propose corrective actions • Manage cost/schedule integration in support of Earned Value requirements and generate schedule metrics and reports for Program Management, Executive Management, and Customer Stakeholders • Develop recovery plans to ensure program milestones are completed in accordance with contract requirements • Coordinate vertical and horizontal schedule integration between supplemental schedules, the IMS, and the Program Summary Master Schedule • Interface with program management, senior management, and the customer • Utilize performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions that improve program performance #LMSpaceProgramPlanners Partners with Program & Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions. Responsible for developing compliant Integrated Program Schedules which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy. Provides the program with time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data, and develops recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts. Ensures all commitments are tracked, monitored and statused. Prepares/coordinates the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response. Interfaces with program management, senior management and the customer as the programs planning integrator. Ensures vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts. Devises modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments. Utilizes performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance. Basic Qualifications • Experience with network scheduling tool (MS Project, Open Plan, Primavera, etc) • Planning/scheduling experience • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities • Experiences achieving team-oriented objectives • Willingness to learn and grow in a high-tempo program environment • Experiences developing and delivering presentations • Must have the ability to work on-site full-time • U.S. citizenship is required with the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance Desired Skills • Bachelor degree preferred • Understanding of EVM • Understanding of critical path analysis • Understanding of the Program Performance Management Process • Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated team • Strong sense of follow-up and closure with attention to detail • Self-starter able to operate with minimal guidance • Program solving skills to identify and resolve challenges arising in dynamic situations • Makes sound decisions quickly and efficiently, even with limited information or under time constraints • Ability to communicate and work effectively across multiple disciplines • Ability to present planning data to stakeholders and management • Active Top Secret clearance Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $67400.00 - $125200.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics. • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
