Full Job Description
This position reports to:
Production Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for managing an assigned product group within the factory operations accountable for Safety, Quality, Revenue Achievement, Productivity & Efficiency. This operations position provides direct guidance to Production Supervisors and 200+ hourly associates and is required to function as the area continuous improvement (lean) champion.

The work model for this role is: Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Integrity: Implement HSE initiatives and maintain business compliance standards and regulations. Create, operate and sustain a clean, safe working environment that meets world class standards to eliminate safety risk and potential hazards on factory floor.
  • Quality: Ensure quality process execution of production lines including leading Customer Audits, Internal Audits, leading root cause analysis with cross-functional engineering teams, and establishing a governance of identified gaps to oversee implementation of improvement plan.
  • Strategy Leadership: Create, implement, and review production and manufacturing strategy. Work with other functions to make optimization plan for the product group assigned to increase operational excellence and customer delivery requirements.
  • Operational Performance Targets: Ensure achievement of established business targets, through definition and governance of improvement actions as needed. Focuses on achievement of Safety, Quality, Revenue, Productivity, Efficiency, and Cost Reduction.
  • Standards and Governance: Implement and ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies, and processes related to operations/project execution and shares functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
  • People Leadership and Development: Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed for a flexible, skilled workforce. Manage (with HR Support) development and accountability of production organization.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply chain, Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of manufacturing or project management experience including 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • ERP experience in Americas SAP (AMSAP) or SAP Torque. (Strong demonstrated experience in other ERP will be considered).
  • Knowledge of Quality management tools and databases.
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel with the ability to manipulate data.
  • Must be analytical and well organized.


While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $100,500 and $160,800 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
