Inside Sales Manager leads a team responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving revenue growth through Inside Sales, as well as supporting strategic accounts.
Partnering closely with Regional Sales Managers, Sales Specialists, Account Managers, Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams, the Inside Sales Manager ensures customers receive best-in-class support while identifying opportunities to expand product adoption, improve profitability, and strengthen long-term customer relationships. The role serves as a critical link between customers, sales, and operations, focusing on both customer satisfaction and growth.
The Inside Sales manager will coach and develop a high performing inside sales and customer service team to deliver results and drive high customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Responsible for leading customer service, inside sales and partnering with strategic accounts
- Own team sales performance, driving sustainable volume growth aligned with the company's objectives
- Lead, coach, train and develop Customer Service & Inside Sales professionals to ensure timely order fulfillment, customer satisfaction, and achievement of business objectives.
- Establish clear performance expectations and accountability while monitoring KPIs
- Partner with supply chain, planning, inventory management, production, and operations teams to align customer demand with operational capabilities and resolve order fulfillment challenges.
- Identify process improvements that increase responsiveness, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Performs all other job duties as assigned.
Competencies:- Demonstrated success leading teams responsible for both customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
- Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to support multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) as well as SAP
Education and/or Experience- Bachelor's degree in Business, Packaging, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in customer service, inside sales or account management
- Experience within protective packaging, industrial manufacturing, packaging distribution, or related B2B industries strongly preferred.
- 3 years of SAP experience
