Job DescriptionSeeking an experienced pharmacist w/ expertise in Hematology/Oncology.
Responsibilities include distribution, drug therapy monitoring, education and supervisory functions. Must collaborate with others, organize well, accomplish tasks, solve problems and communicate effectively. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs is required.
Hematology/Oncology experience preferred. Will provide expert consultation, guide chemotherapy medication use, participates in care planning.
QualificationsBachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) Degree required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Hematology/Oncology experience preferred; Hospital experience desirable. Completion of a PGY2 residency in Hematology/Oncology or PGY1 residency plus 3 years of Hematology/Oncology experience. Experience with chemotherapy sterile admixture preparation preferred.
License/Certification: Current license to practice pharmacy in the State of Arizona.
