Description du poste

AECOM est actuellement à la recherche d'un(e) Ingénieur(e) hydraulique principal(e) pour un poste à temps plein basé à Montréal ou Ottawa.

Le ou la titulaire du poste contribuera principalement à des projets de centrales hydroélectriques, de stations de transfert d'énergie par pompage, de barrages et d'ouvrages hydrauliques. Il ou elle pourra également être appelé(e) à soutenir d'autres lignes d'affaires, notamment dans le cadre de projets d'infrastructures portuaires, d'ouvrages d'art et d'initiatives environnementales.

Principales responsabilités
  • Agir à titre de responsable technique et prendre en charge des mandats liés à sa discipline, en coordonnant les professionnels et les équipes techniques affectées aux projets;
  • Préparer et rédiger des rapports techniques et des notes de calcul pour divers projets, incluant des études et analyses hydrauliques, des simulations de production énergétique, des analyses d'écoulement transitoire et des études de sécurité de barrages;
  • Réaliser des études de faisabilité, d'avant-projet et de conception détaillée pour des ouvrages hydroélectriques et des centrales à réservoir pompé (centrales, barrages, évacuateurs de crues, dérivations, etc.), ainsi que, à l'occasion, pour des structures hydrauliques (canaux, ponts, etc.);
  • Effectuer la modélisation numérique des écoulements et des simulations de rupture de barrage (modèles 1D, 2D et 3D);
  • Assurer le contrôle qualité des études techniques réalisées par les membres de l'équipe et superviser des ingénieurs.


Qualifications

Qualifications requises
  • Baccalauréat en génie civil avec spécialisation en ressources hydriques ou hydraulique;
  • Membre de l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
  • Minimum de 15 ans d'expérience en conception hydraulique d'aménagements hydroélectriques, en modélisation numérique des écoulements et en sécurité des barrages;
  • Bonne connaissance des logiciels de la suite HEC;
  • Excellentes habiletés en rédaction de rapports techniques;
  • Excellente maîtrise du français, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit;
  • Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office.

Qualifications souhaitables
  • Maîtrise en hydraulique ou domaine connexe;
  • 20 ans ou plus d'expérience pertinente;
  • Maîtrise des logiciels Flow-3D et Simsen;
  • Bilinguisme (français et anglais), requis pour les mandats hors Québec;
  • Permis de conduire valide
