Work ShiftJob Description- Direct oversight of pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians, including training and validation of team's skillset to successfully complete the prior authorization process
- Review and evaluate medication requests in Epic to ensure compliance with established guidelines
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, payers, and pharmacy teams to facilitate the prior authorization process
- Communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to gather necessary information to successfully complete the prior authorization process
- Make informed decisions based on clinical knowledge and prior authorization criteria
Additional Job DescriptionOnsite position.
Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience: 7 years progressive work experience and 2 years management experience.
State licensure and/or professional certification requirement/s dependent on position.
Must have active SC pharmacist licensure upon hire, or within 90-days of hire.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
