- You'll open doors from day one, bringing existing relationships with data centre owners, operators, developers and the partner ecosystem around them, and converting those relationships into a qualified pipeline across [region/market] within your first two quarters.
- You'll originate and close work yourself, identifying where clients need help on their capital programmes, leading the pursuit end to end, and signing multi-year advisory and programme management engagements rather than waiting for opportunities to be passed to you.
- You'll shape the solution and the commercial model, designing the approach, team structure and pricing that answers the client's problem and stands up commercially for both sides.
- You'll build the team behind the win, attracting senior practitioners into the Canadian market and standing up the delivery capability, locally and with global support, that scales as the pipeline converts.
- You'll own delivery of what you sell, staying personally accountable for client outcomes, quality and commercial performance until the market reaches the scale to sustain dedicated delivery leadership.
- You'll grow a market, not just an account: within 12 months you'll have a named client portfolio, a repeatable proposition and a team in place, establishing Canada as a scaled part of our global data centre business.
WORKING CONDITIONS- Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
- With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:- Minimum 10 years of experience on large-scale capital projects in the data centre or mission-critical sector, across advisory, cost and commercial management, project or programme management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience originating and selling professional services or consulting work, with a demonstrable record of personally won revenue.
- Minimum 5 years of experience accountable for delivery of capital programme engagements, including client outcomes and commercial performance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working directly with data centre owners, operators or developers in the Canadian market.
- Minimum 3 years of experience building and leading teams, including hiring senior practitioners.
- Fluent in French and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in both languages.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE: - Experience working with or inside one or more hyperscale, colocation or major developer organisations.
- Professional accreditation such as RICS, PMP, AACE/CCP, or chartered engineer status.
- Experience on both owner side and consultant or contractor side of capital programmes.
- Experience selling and delivering across multiple countries
- Experience in adjacent capital-intensive sectors such as semiconductor fabrication, power and grid, or advanced manufacturing.
