Position: Infrastructure Administrator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Administrator responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization's IT infrastructure. The role includes administering servers, storage, virtualization platforms, networking, cloud services, security, backups, and monitoring systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain server, storage, and network infrastructure.
  • Administer Windows and Linux servers in physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file services, and identity management.
  • Configure and maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity using enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Perform server patching, operating system upgrades, and security hardening.
  • Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
  • Support cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, virtualization, storage, and network issues.
  • Manage SAN/NAS storage systems and capacity planning.
  • Implement infrastructure security controls, including access management, endpoint protection, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation, asset inventory, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with network, security, application, and DevOps teams to support business operations.
  • Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology implementation projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience administering enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Windows Server and Linux administration
    • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
    • TCP/IP networking, VLANs, VPNs, routing, and switching
    • VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V
    • Storage technologies (SAN, NAS)
    • Backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, Nagios, or SCOM.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Understanding of IT security best practices, patch management, and compliance standards.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
  • Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with endpoint management solutions such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) or Microsoft Intune.
  • Understanding of ITIL service management processes.

  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
