Full Job Description
Meta is seeking an Infrastructure Accounting Manager to join the controllership function, supporting the accounting and financial reporting for Meta's large-scale infrastructure investments.. This role will specifically support end-to-end accounting processes and operationalizing new accounting programs with a special focus on various strategic supply chain initiatives. This role is critical in supporting the financial integrity and strategic growth of Meta's AI infrastructure, ensuring robust accounting processes for new technologies and large-scale compute infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end accounting processes for strategic supply chain initiatives and operationalize any new accounting program to support the scaling of the Infrastructure Supply Chain or Data Center
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to understand broader business objectives and provide accounting guidance.
• Act as a trusted advisor to non-finance partners, communicating the financial statement impact of their operational choices in clear, actionable terms.
• Interpret and apply accounting standards to new and ongoing agreements for accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare accounting memos and communicate conclusions to cross-functional teams.
• Manage key SOX controls and provide input for audits by business partners, internal auditors, and external auditors.
• Drive process improvements and automation - including leveraging AI tooling - to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of financial reporting.

Minimum Qualifications
• 7+ years of accounting experience in a high growth environment, focusing on supply chain or infrastructure
• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Technical and operational knowledge of U.S. GAAP including ASC 360 (property, plant, and equipment)
• Experience communicating complex accounting positions and analysis to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through written documentation and presentations
• Experience in system implementation to support fast-growing business from accounting standpoint
• Experience in optimizing or designing new and existing processes
• Analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Big 4 audit experience and CPA certification
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP in the context of fixed assets
• Experience using data analysis or visualization tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, or similar platforms to support infrastructure accounting analysis and reporting
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
• Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
