Job Summary
The Oracle Software Developer will design, develop, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases, applications, and systems to meet business and client requirements. The role involves supporting financial movement initiatives and system modernization efforts while ensuring software quality, database performance, security, and reliability. The developer will collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver robust database solutions and support ongoing application improvements.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle databases, applications, and systems.
• Collaborate with product developers and engineering teams to deliver reliable Oracle software solutions.
• Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software quality and compliance with established standards.
• Monitor and optimize database performance to support business applications.
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot software defects in a timely manner.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database triggers.
• Develop and maintain testing frameworks to improve software reliability.
• Implement database security policies and procedures to protect data integrity.
• Participate in peer code reviews and provide technical guidance to system users.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Oracle database development or related software development roles.
• Demonstrable experience in Oracle database development and manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in Oracle technologies, including SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.
• Working knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and other programming languages.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
