ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril's Space team is dedicated to expanding our AI-powered capabilities into the final frontier, enhancing Space Domain Awareness, Space Control, and Command and Control for U.S. military and allied partners. We're developing fully integrated hardware and software systems, including Lattice for Space Missions and modular payloads, to address growing threats in space and ensure our Guardians maintain a decisive advantage in this contested warfighting domain.

ABOUT THE JOB

As the ISSO, you will serve as the hands-on security practitioner responsible for day-to-day compliance execution and vulnerability management across assigned systems. You'll run scans, validate STIGs, manage access controls, investigate security events, and maintain the compliance evidence that supports the team's authorization portfolio.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Execute vulnerability scanning using ACAS/Tenable across all networks and coordinate remediation of findings with IT Engineering and Networking teams within CAT I/II/III timelines
  • Apply and validate STIGs using Evaluate-STIG, SCAP, SCC, and manual review; document all findings and remediation status
  • Configure and monitor security tooling including Security Center, endpoint protection, and Splunk SIEM - investigating security events and escalating per established incident response procedures
  • Manage user access controls by enforcing least privilege and RBAC across all systems, processing account requests, and conducting regular access reviews
  • Conduct weekly audits and security configuration reviews, monitoring for atypical usage, access anomalies, and unauthorized changes per JSIG requirements
  • Maintain all security artifacts including STIG checklists, scan results, vulnerability reports, compliance matrices, and audit logs
  • Support security assessments by collecting evidence, preparing documentation, and providing technical demonstrations to assessors
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information assurance with hands-on compliance execution
  • DoD 8570/8140 compliance at IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+, CySA+, or CCNA Security)
  • Hands-on experience with ACAS/Tenable, SCAP, SCC, or Evaluate-STIG
  • Working knowledge of DISA STIGs, NIST 800-53 security controls, and vulnerability remediation workflows
  • Experience managing user access controls and conducting account/access reviews
  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with Splunk SIEM configuration, log analysis, and alert tuning
  • Familiarity with JSIG or ICD 503 assessment processes
  • Experience working in a space systems or satellite program security environment
  • Exposure to GRC platforms such as eMASS or Xacta
  • Prior experience supporting security control assessments or ATO packages
  • CompTIA CySA+, CEH, or GIAC certifications


US Salary Range

$112,000-$149,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
