Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is hiring an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) at Annapolis Junction, Maryland. Qualified candidates must have a TS/SCI and Polygraph clearance.
Responsibilities:• Provide the government customer expert technical assistance to enable the Information Assurance (IA) program of an organization, system, or enclave
• Implement and enforce information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
• Prepare and maintain security documentation and records
• Evaluate security solutions for processing classified information
• Advise configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware
• Serve as the approval authority for assigned systems
• Obtain Certification & Accreditation (C&A) for assigned systems
• Administer user identification and authentication mechanisms
• Plan and coordinate IT security programs and policies
• Interact with Government customers, IT staff, and high-level corporate officers to define and achieve IA objectives
Qualifications Required:• Exceptional integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to abide by MTSI's core values
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience as an ISSO
Education Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline
Certification Requirements:- Compliance with DoDD 8140 IAM Level I requirements
Clearance Requirements:- TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
