What You'll DoSupport Security Engineering Initiatives- Assist with the implementation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of security technologies and platforms.
- Support integrations between security tools, enterprise systems, and operational workflows.
- Participate in proof-of-concept evaluations and technology assessments.
- Help maintain security dashboards, configurations, documentation, and operational processes.
- Contribute to vulnerability management, asset visibility, endpoint security, penetration test remediation, and exception management activities.
Analyze Data and Drive Visibility- Analyze security and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Create dashboards, reports, and metrics that help teams better understand and manage security risk.
- Transform technical data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and business audiences.
- Validate data quality and ensure reporting accuracy.
Leverage AI and Automation- Use approved AI tools to enhance reporting, documentation, analysis, and operational efficiency.
- Explore and evaluate AI-driven use cases that improve security engineering workflows.
- Help identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and streamline processes.
- Contribute reusable tools, scripts, templates, and process improvements.
Collaborate Across Teams- Partner with Security, Infrastructure, IT Operations, Cloud, GRC, and business teams on security initiatives.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support project delivery.
- Maintain project documentation, status updates, and implementation records.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to a variety of audiences.
Strengthen Security Posture- Support vulnerability and security findings management through reporting, remediation tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
- Assist in maintaining accurate asset and configuration data.
- Help improve visibility into security risks, remediation progress, and operational effectiveness.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience through employment, internships, research projects, labs, apprenticeships, or other hands-on work.
- Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles, security controls, vulnerability management, and risk management.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, scripting, automation, or dashboards.
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, Jira, or similar technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities, follow documented procedures, and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Interest in applying AI responsibly to improve security operations and workflows.
Preferred Qualifications- Exposure to vulnerability management, security engineering, penetration testing, or remediation activities.
- Familiarity with technologies such as endpoint security, cloud security, EDR, SIEM, CMDB platforms, or asset management tools.
- Experience with platforms such as ServiceNow, Axonius, Jira, or similar enterprise tools.
- Security certifications such as Security+, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or equivalent.

The Atlanta Area base salary range for this full-time position is $72,200 - $96,400, which can vary if outside this location,plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
