What You'll Do:- Ensures industry engagement portrays the HNTB brand in the best possible light.
- Maintains partnerships with key industry organizations, vendors and host client agencies.
- Collaborates with external partners and client staff to discover value, develop trusted relationships and deliver highly sophisticated events.
- Creates detailed event plans that include venue, timelines, budgets, catering, transportation, accommodations, and other event details to ensure seamless implementation.
- Sources, evaluates, and negotiates with partners on all aspects of creating and carrying out successful events.
- Maintains regular communication with HNTB's Industry Engagement Director and others as appropriate, proactively sharing event information and recommending any improvements needed.
- Supports the Industry Engagement Director and others as appropriate to develop annual budgets for external events.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or relevant field and 8 years of relevant experience; corporate, non-profit, or agency event planning experience.
- In lieu of degree, 12 years of related experience
