Overview

As an Industrial Water/Wastewater Engineering Principal at CEC, you will develop strategic vision, lead the growth and expansion of client relationships, and work with engineers and scientists to direct and manage a wide range of industrial water and wastewater projects. You will collaborate across multiple office locations and with Market Group leaders to expand services and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical guidance and advisory support to clients and internal teams
  • Develop and oversee project scope, schedule, quality assurance, and cost control
  • Lead and direct multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful completion
  • Expand existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities within Manufacturing, Mining, Power, and Solid Waste markets
  • Lead and participate in industry networking and business development efforts
  • Actively support recruiting, hiring, and mentoring staff to meet project and client needs


Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Demonstrated experience in business development and client relationship management
  • Strong understanding of consulting project management principles and delivery tools
  • Technical expertise in industrial water and wastewater systems and projects
  • Extensive experience with:
    • Process calculations
    • Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
    • Mass balance development
    • Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
    • Process control and instrumentation systems
    • Equipment and piping specifications
