Key Responsibilities:• Promote Hatch's Industrial Water services across the Industrial Water Sector.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers within the Industrial Water team.
• Lead and contribute to engineering studies, designs, reports, and presentations.
• Prepare proposals, and client communications.
• Ensure quality assurance and control throughout project execution.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Explore and implement innovative water management solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:• 15+ years of experience in Industrial Water within Oil Sands, Oil & Gas
• Demonstrated
project management and leadership experience on large, multidisciplinary projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)
• Extensive experience in oil sands water management, including water sourcing, recycle water systems, process-affected water, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong experience in tailings and tailings water management, including tailings dewatering, water recovery, reclaim water systems, water balance development, and integration of water management strategies into mine planning and operations.
• Strong knowledge of design management, and project execution.
• Recognized within the industrial water sector for technical leadership and industry engagement.
• Experience interfacing with operations, environmental, geotechnical, and tailings engineering teams to develop integrated water management solutions.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients and senior stakeholders.
• Committed to innovation, continuous improvement, and the application of emerging technologies.
• Passionate about mentoring, technical development, and knowledge sharing across multidisciplinary teams.
