Industrial Services Project ManagerMMI is looking to hire an Industrial Services Project Manager who has a bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Science or relevant field.
Someone that has a minimum of (5) years of Industrial facility construction/maintenance will be considered in lieu of degree.
The Industrial Services Project Manager needs to have these qualifications and experience:
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience as Construction Project Manager
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
- Familiarity with Quality Control. Environmental, Health and Safety standards
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Familiarity with construction/ project management software
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A team player with leadership abilities
- PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage

Responsibilities for Industrial Services Project Manager:- Collaborate with owners, general contractors, engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to project cost controls
- Plan all project operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
- Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
- Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
- Collaborate with superintendent to supervise the work of laborers, foremen etc. and give them guidance when needed
- Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
- Ensure that all work in progress billing is communicated with finance department in a timely manner
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
