Industrial Service & Repair Manageroversees both our Shop and Field Service business, driving safety, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and business growth. What You'll Do:- Manage day-to-day shop operations for the repair and assembly of centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, electric motors, and related rotating equipment.
- Meet or exceed Monthly, quarterly, and annual Repair department Revenue, Profit, and Safety targets.
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer delivery expectations.
- Monitor workflow, capacity planning, and labor utilization.
- Ensure jobs move efficiently from teardown through inspection, machining, rebuild, testing, and final QC.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Supervise shop foremen, lead technicians, and production staff
- Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
- Enforce accountability, productivity, and workmanship standards.
- Manage labor efficiency and productivity metrics.
- Monitor shop costs including overtime, materials, and rework.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting for manpower and equipment needs.
- Support margin improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.
What You'll Need:- Strong interest in and ability to build and maintain Teams and Team Work.
- 5+ years of experience in pump, motor, or rotating equipment repair environment.
- 3+ years of supervisory or production leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of mechanical repair processes, motor rewinds, machining, and testing.
- Familiarity with equipment BOMs, prints, SWIs and SOPs.
- Willingness to enforce shop safety standards and follow OSHA regulations.
- Strong organizational skills using MS Office, Adobe, and PowerPoint software.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and production tracking software.
- Prolonged standing and working in a shop environment.
- Exposure to noise, grease, and industrial conditions.
