What you'll do

As an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) , you'll be at the heart of operations - right on the floor where materials take shape. Your day-to-day:
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, including corrugators, printers, die cutters, folder-gluers, and conveyor systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and automation-related issues to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, and control systems using diagnostic tools, schematics, and software.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with operators and production teams to identify issues and optimize machine efficiency.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing maintenance practices, reliability, and operational efficiency.


Your strengths as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Red Seal Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Experience in troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), HMIs, and automated control systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and machine manuals.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, software, and computer-based maintenance programs & SAP.
  • Familiarity with 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement principles.
  • Commitment to quality, efficiency, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
