In this role, you willmake an impactby evaluating and solving everyday manufacturing problems related to design, process, and supplier issues for the manufacture of high-quality electronic assemblies. You willprovide technical support to operations in the form of enabling and improving the flow of manufacturingutilizingthe LEAN principles.

Our ideal candidate will be a curious self-starter with excellent teaming, communication, and relationship building abilities. The candidate will also have a passion for LEAN principles and processes and be eager to contribute to improved efficiency andproductivity andidentify/eliminatewaste from established processes.

You will make a significant contribution to developing, verifying, and sustaining assembly processes that will be used in the manufacturing of new and existingproducts.

WHATYOUWILL DO:

  • Drive manufacturing process improvements across multiple assembly process steps.

  • Performtimestudies tomaintainstandard timings used for operator productivity calculations, and to aid with staffinganalyses.

  • Identifyopportunities to remove waste from processes and reduce standard times.

  • Support Production Build Operators with immediate needs on Tooling and Processes to meet production schedule.

  • Utilize drafting/modeling SW to design and implement new fixtures for process improvement.

  • Develop andmaintainProcess Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEAs).

  • Analyze and understand factory needs and requirements.

  • Conduct Process Flowandline balancinganalysis anddriveimprovements.

  • Develop tools that enable manufacturing or increase production rates.

  • Implement Procedure and process improvements based on safety, quality, and productivity.

  • Identifyand address safety concerns.

  • Improving production facilities and equipment layouts.

  • Provide information to management as the status of equipment,manpower,spaceand other elements affecting manufacturing.

  • Identifyneeds for capital expenses and provide cost/benefit analysis and business need.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experienceoran Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experienceorin absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

  • 5+ years of manufacturing and/or electricalcomponenttrouble-shooting experience.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
